Mr. Brian Randow

Brian Randow Mr. Brian Randow, Chief Operating Officer of Compass Airline joined Compass in 2009 from Northwest Airlines where he was serving as Director of Training Resource Management and Customer Service. In this position he had responsibility for Pilot Training Scheduling and Training Center Customer Support. Prior to joining Northwest Airlines, Mr. Randow worked for Mesaba Airlines from 1996 to 2007 holding positions including Director of Flight Operations Training and Administration, Director of Labor Relations, Director SOC and Crew Resources and various other leadership position in Crew Resources. Mr. Randow attended Metropolitan State University where he received a BA in Aviation Management in 1996.

Mr. James M. White

James M. White Mr. James M. White served in U.S. Army (1975-78). Began career in airline industry after being Honorably Discharged from U.S. Army in 1978. Flying career started with Southeastern Airlines operating DH-104, GF-24, & EMB-110, moved to Atlantic Southeast Airlines (after they purchased Southeastern) and operated the EMB-110 & DHC-7. Moved to Resort Air (now Trans States Airlines) February 1988 and operated ATR-42/72, BAE-ATP, & EMB-145. Moved to Compass Airline as Director of Operations in June 2011. During my airline career I have held the position of First Officer, Captain, Instructor (ground & flight), Check Airman, APD, Director of Training, Flight Manager, Chief Pilot, Director of Operations & Director of Safety & Regulatory Affairs. Currently hold an ATP license with multiple type ratings, Commercial license – Single-Engine fixed wing & Rotorcraft, Certified Flight Instructor - Instruments, Multi-Engine and to date have accumulated approx. 17000 flight hours.

Mr. Robert Truax

Robert Truax Mr. Rob Truax, Compass Director of Maintenance, joined Compass in 2008 from Champion Airlines, where he held the position of VP of Technical Operations and Part 119 Director of Maintenance. In that position, he was responsible for all aspects of Technical Operations including: QC, QA, Aircraft Records, Maintenance Programs, Technical Publications, Engineering, Reliability, Materials, Planning, Maintenance Training, Line and Heavy Check Maintenance and Engine Overhaul. Mr. Truax received a BA in Aviation Management in 2002 from Metropolitan State University and holds A&P and R&E licenses, as well as an FAA private pilot license.

Mr. Jose Cordova

Jose Cordova

Mr. José Córdova, Compass Director of Quality & Materials/Logistics, previously served as Independence Air’s and Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA) as a Director of Quality Assurance, Quality Control & Chief Inspector; and at American Airlines Inc. as Quality Assurance Supervisor, Heavy Maintenance Project Manager, Maintenance Planning and Modifications Engineering; at Bee&Gee Manufacturing, Inc. as Production Control Supervisor, Quality Control and Inventory & Tool Supervisor, and at Aircraft Repair and Overhaul Service (MRO) as a Mechanic and Inspector.

Mr. Córdova holds an MBA degree from Syracuse University, a BS degree in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering from Parks College of St. Louis University, and an AS degree in Aircraft Maintenance and his A&P certification from the Spartan School of Aeronautics. Mr. Córdova also served as a Second Lieutenant in the California Army National Guard and in the U.S. Army Infantry for a combined total 12 years.

Mr. Mark Millam

Mark Millam Mr. Mark Millam, Director of Safety has 29 years of experience in airline operations and safety. Before coming to Compass Airlines he was the Director of Safety at Northwest Airlines for nearly 5 years. One of the special focus items of his position at Northwest and within Delta, was to manage a Safety Alliance and associated safety standards between Delta and all Delta Connection Carriers. Prior to that, he held several technical positions at Northwest: Chief Engineer, Director of Powerplant Engineering, Director of Engineering Standards, Manager of Reliability, Manager of Systems Engineering. Mark has a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology.

Mr. John Coffield

John Coffield Mr. John Coffield is responsible, as Director of Customer Service, Security and facilities, for all Compass airport operations activities, providing oversight of contract vendors, security functions and facilities everywhere that Compass operates. John has been in the airline industry for 48 years. Before joining Compass in November 2007, he held various supervisor and management positions at US Airways in Hub Operations with (1961-1998) in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. During the period of time from 1998 to 2006, John was the Hub Director for Atlantic Coast Airlines/Independence at the IAD and ORD hubs. During the 2006/2007 time frame, he was the General Manager for Worldwide Flight Services managing the NWA contract in Pittsburgh, Pa. Mr. Coffield is also a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during 1965 to 1966.

Mrs. Eva Durham

Eva Durham Eva Durham, General Manager Inflight, joined Compass Airlines in 2010, with over 30 years of industry experience. Mrs. Durham has held various leadership positions including Vice President Inflight at Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Manager Special Projects - Human Resource and Labor Relations at TWA and a variety of other management - labor leadership roles at TWA and Ozark Airlines. She began her carrier as a flight attendant with regional carrier Ozark Airlines in St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Durham holds a BS degree in Industrial and Organizational Development, earned at Washington University in St. Louis. Her MBA was earned at Clayton University in Georgia.

Mr. George Cline

George Cline Mr. George Cline, General Manager of Quality & Part 119 Chief Inspector, brings 23 years of aircraft maintenance experience with 14 of these years in a management capacity in many areas of maintenance (Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance Base Manager and Heavy Maintenance Manager). He earned an A&P license from Frederick Community College (Aviation Maintenance Technology).

Mr. Cline also presently serves as a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard as a C-5 Galaxy Systems Technician, and has served in the U.S. Air Force for a combined total of 21 years; during these years Mr. Cline has been part of Desert Storm, Desert Shield and Iraqi Freedom Operations.

Mr. Kevin Burian

Mr. Kevin Burian, General Manager Crew Scheduling & Crew Administration joined Compass in January, 2010 after a 30 year career with Northwest Airlines. He is responsible for Crew Scheduling, Payroll and Contract Administration. At Northwest Airlines, Kevin held various positions within Flight Operations, In-Flight Services and Ground Operations. Mr. Burian attended Loyola University of Chicago and has a BA in Spanish.
